L. A. SUMMER LOVE: Yoga Nest Venice

This L. A. SUMMER LOVE, I experienced full recreation from inside out. Needless to say, the sun was pure soulfood besides its obvious tanning qualities. Only to be topped by my daily vinyasa flow Yoga sessions at the Yoga Nest Venice.

The Yoga Nest Venice is a studio above a surf shop right by the Venice Fishing Pier. When I researched which Yoga studio to go to during my Venice Beach stay and stumbled on The Yoga Nest, I instantly knew that was the perfect place for me. And as it turns out: My guts were right. In addition to its amazing locations by the beach — that allowed for me to ride bike (the studio was only a 7 min ride away from our airbnb stay) in the morning, enjoying calm Venice streets and a beautiful sunshine –, the Yoga teachers and the flow taught was perfect for strengthening, relaxing and energyzing. A place to recreate, to fill up your energy tank, to free your mind. Get rid of everything that does not belong in your body and brain — replacing it with self-love, gratitude, appreciation and more love. It was the perfect ratio of physical workout and mental break.

Stepping out of the door after each class, I felt reborn, like I could tackle any task life might throw at me. The feeling of restlessness vanished completely for that period of time. I still felt adventurous in a positive way, yet settled and in peace with the present, worrying less and accepting more. Thank you to the lovely teachers Kasey Kilmer and Jessica Corbin that led through amazing Yoga sessions. Stay tuned for the interview piece with Kasey — coming up this week! 🙂

If you ever happen to spend time in Venice Beach and are in need of a Yoga studio, the Nest is your place to go — this I recommend from the bottom of my ♥.
